Coronel is Sao Jose dos Campos' most well-known and traditional bar. They'd been hosting an annual party for a while. For that particular year, the event raised Nextel  attention which sponsored the event.

The atmosphere of the event is inspired by traditional "botecos Cariocas" (Brazil), which are adorned with checkerboard tiles. To illustrate this, the tile pattern was designed using Nextel's colours as the venue's surroundings.
