The goal of this project was to create a fictional coffee or tea shop and create a brand and identity that would work for them and be shown through their packaging. The end result was three variations on packaging of their product as well as two promotional pieces. I created Long Dog Coffee Company, inspired by my dachshund who sneakily finds his way to your coffee to lap some up while you're not looking.
I wanted Long Dog Coffee Company to be a small family-owned coffee shop in Philadelphia. The logo and dog are clean and crisp but cute and give a home owned feel to them. The pattern adds visual interest and color and the different dogs on each package serve both to identify the roast and to make the brand unique.
I really enjoyed working on this and would love to do more packaging work in the future.
