Collaborating with Auditoire KSA office, NAOS had the privilege to contribute to an event organized by The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU). NAOS supposed to translate the provided event brand visuals onto the main stage visuals. The event, held for employees of one of the largest Open-Air Museums globally and a UNESCO heritage site, was anticipated to host around 1,000 visitors, spanning the entirety of a day.

From the inception of the design within a tight timeframe to a last-minute transformation our team showcased ability to navigate challenges and collaborate effectively with both creative agency and client to deliver exceptional results. Let's delve into how it unfolded!






Crafting an annual gathering event for a company deeply intertwined with world cultural heritage and stewardship of a globally significant site requires a delicate balance between Heritage Treasure and Human Ingenuity.

Our brief tasked us with developing various content elements for the event program:
Mission and Vision Video: A narrative highlighting the foundational principles of RCU, aimed at rallying individuals behind the commission's overarching vision.
Yearly Achievements Showcase: A celebratory recap of the organization's milestones and accomplishments from the past year.
Awards Ceremony: An integral part of the event, honoring over 700 individuals whose contributions were pivotal to the organization's success.

To accommodate the large number of attendees, the stage was divided into three sections, ensuring that all audience segments had optimal access to the content. This strategic layout improved audience engagement.




Our creative director envisioned a design that merged the contemporary allure of Al Ula, evident in its previous communications, with the intrinsic cultural heritage embedded within the landscape. Drawing inspiration from the golden hues and sandy tones of the brand palette, we incorporated motifs derived from Hegra rock paintings. These elements were dynamically woven into wave-like and circular forms, symbolizing the interplay between the dunes and the passage of time.





The integration of chosen motifs into spinning circular forms served a dual purpose. Firstly, it added a dynamic visual dimension to the stage, capturing the audience's attention and immersing them in the essence of Al Ula's heritage. Secondly, as the circular forms rotated, they symbolized the continuous evolution and interconnectedness of the cultural narrative, mirroring the perpetual motion of history and tradition within the Al Ula region.




This innovative approach transformed the stage into a canvas where past and present converged, inviting attendees to embark on a journey through time and culture. The spinning circles became a metaphorical gateway, bridging the gap between ancient heritage and contemporary storytelling, and infusing the event with a sense of wonder and reverence for Al Ula's enduring legacy.




The final chapter of the ceremony is dedicated to honoring the remarkable individuals whose contributions have been instrumental in shaping the success of AlUla. With over 700 awardees spanning across four distinct categories, this segment is a pivotal moment where each person's dedication and commitment are celebrated.

In our design approach, we sought to seamlessly integrate the essence of this ceremony into our overall branding narrative. Recognizing that each awardee is an integral part of the greater success story of AlUla, we ensured that our designs reflected this sentiment.



Through meticulous attention to detail, we incorporated elements that symbolized the diversity and collective effort of the awardees. Dynamic visuals representing the interconnectedness of individuals and their roles within the larger framework of AlUla's achievements adorned the stage. Each design element served as a tribute to the unique contributions of every awardee category, highlighting their significance in driving the mission and vision of AlUla forward.




Throughout the event, our screensavers played a pivotal role, serving as a backdrop for speeches, presentations, and panel discussions. Designed to be versatile and complementary, these screensavers provided a consistent and elegant visual element across all spaces.
By providing a visually captivating yet unobtrusive background, our screensavers ensured that the focus remained on the speakers and content while still contributing to the overall ambiance of the event. Their understated sophistication and versatility made them the perfect complement to the diverse array of activities and discussions taking place throughout the program.




Initially conceived in 3D, our designs underwent a transformation into 2D assets. This strategic shift allowed us to integrate real shooted material provided by the client, curated over years in collaboration with their production house. By embracing a minimalist approach, we ensured that our graphics served as elegant complements to the source videos, rather than overpowering them. This transition enhanced the authenticity of the visuals, providing a refined aesthetic that placed the narrative at the forefront.



Our videos transcended the role of mere background content, evolving into dynamic and informative narratives that captivated and engaged the audience. Through captivating visuals and compelling storytelling, we aimed to inform, entertain, and inspire attendees throughout the event. From showcasing AlUla's cultural heritage to providing insights into key event themes and topics, our videos served as invaluable tools for audience engagement. By prioritizing dynamic storytelling and informative content, we ensured that our videos not only complemented but enhanced the event experience, leaving a lasting impact on all who viewed them.



Every frame of our videos was meticulously aligned with the event's brand guidelines, ensuring a cohesive visual identity that resonated with attendees. From color schemes to typography, each element adhered to the event logo and overarching brand identity. This synchronization established a strong brand presence, reinforcing the event's message and values. By maintaining consistency with the brand guidelines, our videos seamlessly integrated into the event's narrative, leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
