I joined a 4-day camping trip with other travellers and gained an improved understanding about Aboriginal culture through a few Dreamtime stories shared by our guide.
The redness of the soil is quite astonishing, as well as the seeming emptiness of the outback - one of the best things I loved.
We'd travel for hours on empty roads surrounded by the rust-coloured plains and I'd get lost in my thoughts, ruminating while listening to Slim Whitman yodelling.
Need I mention that the stars and the moon shine the brightest here?
