UX Audit - Russian Coffee Site

UX Audit of a new coffee e-commerce site
Project Overview:
Revamping Moscow Bakery's Online Coffee Sales Experience
In collaboration with my brother-in-law in Moscow, I've embarked on a journey to enhance their online coffee sales platform. Initially, the focus was on establishing an online presence without significant investment, so he hired his graphic designer to build a WordPress site. However, recognizing several critical issues impacting user experience (UX), I took the initiative to conduct a comprehensive UX Audit.

Key Observations:
Inconsistent Design Patterns: Identified a lack of uniformity across the website, hindering intuitive navigation and user engagement.
Hierarchy and Accessibility: Highlighted deficiencies in structuring content hierarchies and ensuring accessibility standards, potentially alienating certain user demographics.
Branding Challenges: While not directly impacting UX, branding discrepancies were noted, requiring attention for cohesive brand representation.

Exploratory Focus:
One of the primary areas of interest lies in optimizing the placement and effectiveness of call-to-action (CTA) buttons. Questions arise regarding their placement - should they feature prominently on the landing page or reside within the product pages? Additionally, there's an inquiry into the optimal number and positioning of wholesale CTA buttons, including the potential integration of a single button within the navigation bar for streamlined access.

Acknowledgments:
Special thanks to Aryan Sharifi, also known as Ari Pxl, whose insightful YouTube video provided invaluable guidance in structuring and conducting the UX Audit. Without his contribution, this endeavor wouldn't have been as comprehensive or effective.
