M A N A
Mana is a small table that takes an experimental approach to various and unusual intersecting materials.
The project aims to highlight prestigious natural materials — such as beech wood and glazed ceramics — besides manufacturing technologies all connected to Hungarian traditions.
Throughout the project I embraced such a material harmony that is innovative and atypical but also have a decorative value. Therefore, Mana can potentially pave the way for a future collection.
My aim was to make the ceramic elements interchangeable with differently glazed elements as well. In this way, the furniture will become highly modular, also endlessly repairable embracing sustainable consumption and the longevity of its design.
The owner of this piece will have the possibility of endless customisation and harmonical design.
