yugo.logo - exhibition design

yugo.logo is a self-initiated research project which aims to collect and save (digitalize) logos made in
Ex-Yugoslavia* (1945-1992.)

After more than three years of research work, and running an online archive on Instagram and web, the first ever yugo.logo exhibition - "Graphic Identification in Yugoslavia" was held in Zagreb, Croatia (11.05.-02.06.2023.) Galerija HDD (Hrvatsko Dizajnersko Društvo /  Croatian Designers Association).

The exhibition showcased more than 400 logos, with all the information (author, year, location) noted. Also, a small "hall of fame" included profiles of 3 most influential authors from Yugoslavia (Miloš Ćirić, Milan Vulpe, Ivan Dvoršak). Last but not least, on the display was part of the yugo.logo library, with some rare and vintage (brand) books I've collected down the road...

*Yugoslavia today: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia
