CARBURATORE IN CERAMICA
Ho ricreato diversi stampi in gesso con cassaforme in legno per tutti i particolari più piccoli, uno stampo per la vaschetta, uno per il lato destro e sinistro del carburatore.
Il carburatore deve essere smontato completamente.
La forma del carburatore presenta diversi sottosquardi.
I recreated several plaster molds for all the smaller details, one mold for the bowl, one for the right and left side of the carburettor. The shape of the carburetor has several undercuts.
Il pezzo finale in argilla una volta asciutto, deve cuocere ad una temperatura intorno ai 1000°C per diventare ceramica.
The final clay piece, once dry, must be fired at a temperature of around 1000°C to become ceramic.
Durante la lavorazione in argilla il manufatto è molto delicato, per errore un pezzo si è letteralmente spiaccicato sul pavimento, ho preferito lasciarlo così...

Ho smontato questo carburatore da una Guzzi V35. Voglio precisare che questo è il mio primo progetto fatto in ceramica partendo da un panetto d'argilla. Il carburatore in ceramica è stato fissato su una tavoletta in legno con targhetta in allumino con alcuni dati tecnici, può essere messo ovunque. Per rifinire ombre incavi e altro gli ho dato una mano di mordente noce scuro con un panno imbevuto d'acqua.
La mia idea è ricreare altri modelli, in cantiere è pronto un BING BMW.

I disassembled this carburettor from a Guzzi V35. I want to clarify that this is my first ceramic project starting from a loaf of clay. To finish shadows hollows and more I gave it a coat of dark walnut stain with a cloth soaked in water.
