Brand identity and packaging system concept for @laguacamayamx, the most traditional and emblematic producer of sauces and spices manufacturer company in Sinaloa and Northwest Mexico.

La Guacamaya was founded in 1948 in El Rosario, Sinaloa, by Mr. Pablo Gandarilla and Mrs. Severa del Rincón as a handmade business. Today it’s a company with more than 200 employees in different parts of Mexico, and several distribution points in the United States.

With sharp edges and geometric forms, the new wordmark encapsulates the most distinctive aspects of the macaw in a very subtle way, allowing the brand’s name to shine on its own. The new sans-serif font has this particular familiar and kind essence that resembles the joyful personality of the people of Sinaloa.

Watercolor illustrations were implement in the new visual identity and packaging system to highlight the brand’s artisan personality.
