This project came as a result of a final assignment for a sociology class I was enrolled in during my senior year at University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. This piece is narrated and illustrated by me and was made in an attempt to explore the relationship between the prison industrial complex, institutionalized racism in America, and the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to time constraints the content is less in-depth than I would have wished and the ending is tied up much more nicely than the actual issues involved, but I believe that the message remains crucial.
