The Launch of the PRX Energy Journal

A graduate of Wesleyan University, Andrew Kortyna has a Ph.D. in physics and serves as a physicist at ColdQuanta Inc. Andrew Kortyna was previously a research associate at Joint Institute of Laboratory Astrophysics (JILA) and is a member of the American Physical Society.

The American Physical Society is a non-profit organization that provides research and journals related to physics in order to advance studies and knowledge. The American Physical Society announced in June 2021 the launch of PRX Energy, a journal of research that discusses themes related to energy such as sources, storage, and utilization. The launch of the program is part of the American Physical Society’s strategies to provide open and free access in the Physical Review.

PRX Energy comes to support and continue the knowledge and path of the Physical Review X, which celebrates its 10th anniversary, as well as PRX Quantum which provides open access journals about quantum information science. By uniting journals related to science and communities who conduct research and studies, the world can discover sustainable energy solutions faster and easier.
