Bringing The Ulfberht To Life

Playability. Tone. Aesthetics; in that order. This guitar is a vision realized after 15 years of hoping, planning, playing, and researching. The guitar I wanted didn’t exist, so I set out to assemble it from the best parts available. I wanted simplicity in a guitar, but from few parts, versatility. Light weight and easy to play. Tone shaped in the direction of Van Halen's "Brown Sound", and something unique about the look. The term “Parts-caster” applies, but it is not a derogatory term! The Ulfberht 01 is, at this time, the finest guitar I know how to build.

The name Ulfberht comes from a real Viking sword maker. These swords are rare and considered some of the best blades ever crafted. The Viking theme carries through details in this guitar from the Helheim strap made by LM Products to the icon I designed for the neck plate that i call "Helm Of Ulfberht".
