In this project I recreated iconic symbols.  The first image I recreated was the Canadian flag; I used the pen tool to outline the leaf in my original image of the flag inside of Illustrator, then added the squares surrounding the leaf to recreate the Canadian flag exactly.  In order to create the Houston Texans logo, I first used the pen tool to outline the two halves of the bull in the logo, then colored them blue and red respectively.  Once I had done that I added a star and positioned it so that it was nearly identical to that shown in the original image.
