Bearing in mind the director’s wish to have a non-realistic and minimalistic unit set, I have envisioned a very tall and grand room  that reflects the towering majesty of the monarchy. I wish for the space to evoke a certain feeling in the audience - the feeling and impact that the monarchy has on society. The abstract nature of the set allows for multiple entrance and exit options, making the set behave as another character. That effect also helps portray the labyrinth nature of the royal palaces. The set is meant to be very simple and elegant, and, in a way, act as a canvas for projections that appear throughout the play, also in a very abstract manner, focusing mostly on portraying feelings and moods of the scenes.
