WILD GIANT is a graphic design studio specializing in branding, illustration, and design for (for not limited to) the fitness, entertainment, sports and consumer product industries. Our work is bright and bold; A unique mix of clean, modernist brand design and imaginative, character driven illustration.
When we began the studio proper in 2018 our intent was to operate from a "chameleon" standpoint; we wanted to play and experiment with our brand and having a set heirarchy of logos didn't feel right. That all changed in the summer of 2020 when during a beach visit something as simple as carving a logo into the sand became the spark that lit the powder keg.
Our brand mark is a unique WG monogram and a smattering of type expressions. While our type treatments may fluctuate, in a way akin to our original ethos, our WG mark will never change. It has become an industry staple and one that we still get excited about to this day. We blended these new assets with a color palette that hadn't been exploited within the design community. The DDC has Orange 021 and Wild Giant has Monster Green: a retina burning, face melting, ooze bubbling green. Never did we think we'd be "known" for a color but here we are, and we love it!
