The Main role
A woman in the family plays the role of mistress, wife, mother. In this role, she is impeccable. But more often than not, we have no idea what is hidden behind the curtains of the "home theater". A woman who is subjected to domestic violence, in most cases, carefully conceals pain and injuries, continuing to play the role of a good housewife and an exemplary wife. Public opinion (among other things) pushes her to this, saying: "keep it in the family".
And everybody around them prefer not to interfere and do not ask unnecessary questions - it’s much more pleasant to watch an elegant performance than to know all the secrets of its creation. Meanwhile, the woman is experiencing a terrible tragedy, but does not ask for help. She's afraid to destroy the perfect picture, because she is ashamed, hurt and/or nowhere to run.

"You are so beautiful couple!!!"
Thus, a family with domestic violence has a "dramatic matreshkas structure": a personal drama inside a big tragedy, and all together inside a beautiful theatrical performance, when we can see only a great acting and perfect make-up.
