Edición Especial Bicentenario - Juan Valdez
Un empaque conmemorativo para una fecha patria en Colombia.
Juan Valdez es la marca de café que lleva la bandera país en Colombia y en el mundo. Para está fecha patria del bicentenario del 7 de agosto se nos encargo darle a este café edición especial un empaque premium y la identidad visual que representará esta historia. Antes de crear buscamos dentro de la historia los elementos que fueran representativos para cada colombiano y que le dieran un valor intrínseco a esta edición. Luego, con estos elementos inicio la ilustración y el montaje a partir de fotografías y usando códigos propios de la marca como su logotipo y tipografía. Logrando un empaque que tanto estéticamente como en su mecanismo al abrir una especie de tótem y símbolo patrio.

A commemorative packaging for a national date in Colombia.
Juan Valdez is the coffee brand that carries the country flag in Colombia and in the world. For this national date of the bicentennial of August 7, we were commissioned to give this special edition coffee a premium packaging and the visual identity that this story will represent. Before creating, we looked within the story for elements that were representative for each Colombian, and that gave intrinsic value to this edition. Then, with these elements, I start the illustration and the assembly from photographs and using the brand's own codes such as its logo and typography. Achieving a packaging that both aesthetically and in its mechanism by opening a kind of totem and national symbol.
