Introduction to the pakk_art project:
pakk_art is an art venture based on the idea of promoting contemporary art. pakk_art differs from traditional art galleries in that it brings forth a quality art market, which represents multiple artists, where everyone can comfortably access unique art for a low cost. During the first phase of the project we will be offering hundreds of carefully selected works from sixteen contemporary artist both at our website and at our pop-up store. All the art pieces whether one-of-a-kind or copies are certified authentic.
The word “pakk” in pakk_art means pack in English, as implied by the name, each artist has their own pack of carefully wrapped art. With this method of organization, we have made the wide selection of art easier to view. By using packs to organize the artwork, we are able to showcase a greater number of work from each individual artist.
It is our understanding that the local contemporary art market is missing a relaxed environment, which would benefit both the artist and the seller. pakk_art offers every-day art enthusiast a chance to meet with contemporary artist without any commitment to purchase. We hope that by bringing the two parties together, we are functioning as the simplest and most effective place for young contemporary artist and art enthusiast to meet.
