About the Event
Meet and Greet FKA is an event where all student leaders gather. This event is created to build good relationships and showcase the skills of student leaders. Moreover, MnG FKA also invites keynote speakers to impart knowledge on effective leadership to all student leaders.
MnG FKA's visual branding introduces an amazing collaboration between two visual cultures. This represents a significant innovation for the design team, as merging two different cultures into one identity isn't an easy task.
MnG FKA collaborates Indonesian Batik culture with European Scandinavian visual culture. This is achieved by blending two basic patterns and analyzing their similarities.
The challenges became tangible when the team embarked on finding a suitable color palette for this project. Which colors would effectively blend these two cultures? Which colors would maintain the creative energy throughout the event while preserving the cultural significance of the project?
Designing the logos proved to be an even more challenging endeavor. However, after thorough deliberation, the team arrived at the decision to incorporate a fusion of shapes derived from the outcomes of their exploration. This approach allowed them to seamlessly integrate elements from both cultural backgrounds, resulting in logos that effectively represent the essence of the project.
