Welcome! The project in this post is based off of the Inktober 2023 Prompt List.

I chose to tell a story using eight of the prompts seen below. The challenge was to create a thoughtful design using only four spot colors. These Vector designs needed to show depth by utilizing texture to create definition within each prompt.  

I decided to make my story cohesive while also remaining whimsical and colorful. As such, I focused my story on a curiously brave girl going on an adventure through a vibrant landscape where she makes a new unexpected friend.

I used Illustrator for this project and the textures I used were from brush stippling with the use of clipping masks. The prompts that I chose were: dream, rise, wander, drip, toad, path, castle, and sparkle. If you would like to see more of my process work, check out my Dropmark!
