I had an idea about what I wanted to do for this piece. I decided to use the stanza by John Mark Green "We're explorers of the heart, learning to dream again. The adventure of a lifetime, with Love alone as our guide. Exotic places beyond imagination--ones we've longed for deep inside." I wanted to do a man looking into a cool sky so I went back and forth between these two pictures.

I next edited out the sky in this picture so I could use something that looked more like a journey. I used the magnetic cut out tool to edit this guy to perfection.

I found this picture on the web and thought it would fit in perfectly with my stanza. This background looks very exotic and it looks like its beyond our imagination

I placed the background in this picture. I really liked how it looked because he looks like he is ready to take on adventure.

I wanted to make it look like he was about to walk up stairs into the sky so I used this picture.

I edited out the stars and put it into my piece. I turned down the opacity to make it look like the stars were barely there. This helped it look more adventurous and an "Exotic place beyond imagination."

I wanted to make it look like there was a tunnel at the top of the stairs. I thought that a cloud tunnel would look very cool so I used this picture.

I edited out the cloud picture until it looked like a tunnel. I accomplished this by using the shape tool and then cropping the rest of the photo. From there I evened it up with the stairs and put it at the top of the stairs. I really liked how this looked because it looks like there is adventure right ahead of him and he looks like it is beyond his imagination.
